Abstract: The Cover Feature depicts a metalloid silver cluster that is highly sensitive towards light and temperature. The cluster has unusual features such as an hcp-like stacking of silver atoms within its kernel, and, most prominently, an overall hexagonal prismatic shape. In their Research Article (DOI: 10.1002/chem.202403838), A. Schnepf and co-workers report the synthesis and structure of this fragile compound and how it relates to faceted nanoparticles.
