Abstract: The cover image indicated the successful development of photoactive novel polypyridyl-Co(III)-vitamin B6 complexes for antibacterial treatment under visible light. Upon light exposure, these complexes exhibited remarkable antibacterial responses against both gram-positive (S. aureus) and gram-negative (E. coli) bacteria via ROS-triggered damage of bacterial cell membranes. Overall, the article number e202400943 by Prodyut Dhar, Samya Banerjee, and co-workers highlights the potential of Co(III) complexes for antibacterial photodynamic therapy.
