Abstract: The 9th International Seminar in Sciences, Environment, and Education (ISSEE) Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, Indonesia Thursday-Friday, September 19th-20th 2024 About The 9th ISSEE 2024 Climate change is one of the global issues that needs more attention. Climate change is actually not a new thing in the history of the earth we live on. However, climate change today is greatly influenced by human activities. Humans need to work together to prevent further climate change. At the ISSEE conference, the issue of sustainability was the main one studied together. This conference discussed sustainability in several interrelated aspects, namely Sciences, Environment, and Education. Science is an essential component in supporting sustainability. Through science, new technologies are developed that are more environmentally friendly, effective, and useful. Sustainability also needs to be supported by better environmental improvements. This state includes the importance of having environmental literacy so that sustainability can be implemented further. The last most crucial aspect is education. The concept and practice of sustainability need to be accustomed to from an early age; therefore, education has a very important role.
