Abstract: This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of different spectral windows, such as Daniel, Tukey, Hamming, Parzen, and Bartlett, in identifying the periodicity of monthly average sunspot data (Wolf-Sunspot, 1961–1980). The goal was to comprehend the recurring patterns of sunspot activity, which is crucial in anticipating solar activity and its potential impact on Earth. By employing these windows, the accuracy of this method in uncovering the underlying periodicity is evaluated.
