Abstract: The professional activity of the investigator of EMERCOM of Russia is considered. Expert assessments of specialists in the specialty «Investigatorst» are given. A psychogram of the psychophysiological qualities of a specialist was created, and a model of professionally significant qualities was developed during the ranking process. The results obtained determined the direction, means and methodology of the study of special physical training in the course of physical training classes.
