Formation of Future Higher Education Teachers' Readiness for Pedagogical Creativity: Analysis of Domestic and Foreign Scientific Experience

Abstract: The article reveals the views of foreign and domestic researchers on the concepts of “pedagogical creativity” and “readiness”. It is found that the problem of creativity and readiness for it in higher education is considered from different angles, there is no single point of view among specialists. The main characteristics related to pedagogical creativity are listed: originality and novelty, high level of teacher motivation, student-centeredness, flexibility and adaptability, developed interpersonal relationships. It has been found that readiness for creativity requires serious theoretical preparation and implementation of experience in practice. It has been established that in the conditions of higher education institutions there is a need for high-quality educational personnel capable of showing creativity and non-standard thinking.
