Abstract: Field studies of hydromineral deposits of the Southern Urals, as well as the results of studying the ion-salt and gas composition of groundwater show that liquid runoff from pyrite deposits in the region can become serious deposits of secondary mineral raw materials in the future. Dump waters are mineral resources in which, according the concentration level, the content of the main elements is commensurate with the average content in ores.
