Abstract: This research aims to understand the folk arts form known as Chhau, a traditional dance and drama art form performed in various regions of Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Odisha. A comparative approach is employed to analyze the similarities and differences among the various Chhau forms in these regions. The findings reveal numerous similarities, including the use of masks, similar costumes, and makeup styles.
