Abstract: Salt is one of the indispensable things in everyday life. Salt production is traditionally carried out mainly by small farmers and industrial salt companies. Specifically, Genenmulyo Village in the Pati region of Central Java is a village known for its salt production. The average Genengmulyo villager works as a salt farmer and owns a pond for their daily livelihood. In maintaining the quality of salt production, the implementation of TPM is proven to increase productivity, improve quality, control costs, maintain worker safety, and increase morale to create a workplace that is conducive to Masus' business operations bringing positive changes to producers. The purpose of total productive maintenance is to ensure that all equipment and machinery are in good working condition and to avoid breakdowns or delays in the production process. Maintenance is a way to protect and maintain machinery from damage and malfunction in hazardous situations. The purpose of maintenance is to overcome malfunctions that occur during the use of machinery and equipment and keep it in good working condition (Mukril, 2014: 2). The main purpose of a maintenance system is to maintain machinery and equipment and protect them from serious damage. This ensures that maintenance costs are not too high and do not take too long.
