Mechanism for exporting congress and exhibition services to the CIS countries

Abstract: The mechanism of administrative and economic regulation of congress and exhibition activities, necessary for the systemic development of the industry, is considered. The procedure for exporting convention and exhibition services to the CIS countries is described, a scheme for entering the event into a single register for monitoring and monitoring the development of the industry is drawn up. In an unstable global situation, the register of licensed organizations is of particular importance, since it will meet the necessary safety requirements for national and international forums, exhibitions, congresses and conferences. It is proposed to introduce a project office into the public administration system, which will create favorable conditions for the development of small and medium-sized businesses operating in the field of congresses and exhibitions, will allow them to identify industry trends and form strategic development directions. In the context of rapidly changing economic conditions, the project office will contribute to the prompt resolution of topical issues, as well as provide feedback to representatives of the congress and exhibition industry. The main exported services and their types are highlighted. It is noted that the development of services exports will provide the budget of the Russian Federation with additional tax revenues, create a positive image of the state in the international economic and political arena, and also improve the quality of services provided in importing countries. The use of the mechanism described in the study contributes to the creation of favorable conditions for the development of international cooperation in the long term, increasing the competitiveness of the domestic convention and exhibition industry. The presented measures are aimed at administrative and economic regulation, which will increase the investment attractiveness of both individual regions and the Russian Federation as a whole.
