Abstract: Density❑ Energy density is less reported in literature due to difficulties obtaining accurate and reliable values ❑ Average energy densities of MnSi, MnFe and MnFeSi calcined at 1000 o C during 5-cycle redox tests were 18.2, 92.7 and 49.1 kJ/kg, respectively ❑ Measured energy densities from DSC were lower than theoretical values due to incomplete reaction, DSC conditions, and heat loss during the test with open crucible:
