Abstract: The article is devoted to the analysis of the role and importance of practical training for students studying at the Faculty of Psychology and Social Work of V.G. Queen The authors consider practice as an integral part of the professional formation of future specialists, which contributes to the development of professional skills, the formation of ethical norms and a deeper understanding of the specifics of future activities. The article focuses attention on the structure, features of the organization and methods of practical training used in the Poltava National Pedagogical University named after V.G. Queen The importance of practical experience for adapting students to modern requirements of the labor market and solving psychological and social problems in the professional sphere is also emphasized.
