Abstract: The aim of this work is to analysis the influence of thermal expansion and hygrometric swelling phenomena on multi-material structures, in service and under hygrothermal stress. The aim is to highlight the different states of hygrothermal stress responsible for structural damage. In this analysis, we are trying to highlight the problem of temperature variation, variation in the concentration of the swelling agent and this parametric study will be conducted whereby the effects of different fiber orientations on material performance, and to visualize the results in order to be able to draw up the best structure that simulates the walls of an advanced cold chamber that can be dismantled and moved. In order to simplify this study, we rely on the mechanics of continuous media through an analytical formulation of the behavior of orthotropic plates in the first instance, and a numerical calculation to solve the system of analytical equations in the second instance.
