Grain Sorghum in Second Harvest Using Organomineral Fertilizer

Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: Objective: The objective of the research is to evaluate whether or not it is possible to increase plant productivity through the use of organomineral fertilizers. If this is the case, the effectiveness of the product in agricultural terms will be determined and thus the product will be validated in the agricultural area. Theoretical Framework: Sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L. Moench) is of paramount importance for food security and the world economy because it is a multipurpose alternative source for the production of food, feed and biofuels. Especially in terms of secondary crops, the need for adequate fertilization strategies is very essential to increase productivity. A promising alternative that is gaining importance is the use of organomineral fertilizers that increase the efficiency of mineral nutrients with organic matter, not only developing the plant, but also the condition of the soil. Method: The methodology adopted for this research comprises a field research of a scientific nature, with a quantitative approach. Results and Discussion: We can conclude that the applications made in different doses as a stimulus to plant development provided significant productivity gains for the MSM 221 grain sorghum crop compared to the absolute control and other treatments. Research Implications: The issues presented here are presented in the text that portrays a practical view of the application in the field with an extensionist focus, aiming at improvements for rural producers. Originality/Value: The contribution in terms of novelty that this research makes lies in the approaches that are taken and new methodologies and applications. Its adequacy and values are justified as being adequate by the statement that more research along the same lines is necessary.
