Abstract: Over the last decade, the Hazaribagh Dental College and Hospital has garnered invaluable experience in managing pediatric orthopaedic trauma, particularly fractures. Pediatric fractures differ significantly from adult fractures due to children's ongoing skeletal growth, necessitating a unique approach tailored to each child's age, size, and developmental stage. This retrospective study analyzes the incidence, types, and treatment of pediatric fractures observed at our institution between June 2013 and August 2023. The study primarily focuses on maxillofacial fractures, including dentoalveolar, midface, and mandibular fractures, with dentoalveolar injuries being the most common. Falls were identified as the leading cause of fractures, particularly among boys aged 7-10 years. Treatment strategies varied based on the fracture type, with a combination of conservative management, splinting, and surgical intervention used to ensure optimal healing. Our findings highlight the critical importance of a specialized, age-appropriate approach to pediatric fracture management and contribute to the ongoing refinement of treatment protocols in pediatric orthopaedic traumatology. Continued research in this area is essential for improving patient outcomes and advancing pediatric orthopedic care
