Kukkutanda Twak Bhasma in a dose of 250 mg twice a day with honey was administered for 30 days and Pippalyadi yoni varti was kept per vagina (for 3 hours daily) after the completion of bleeding phase of menstrual cycle for 7 days. The effect of therapy was assessed by change in the scores of assessment criteria and vaginal pH. Sthanika Chikitsa is having great role when combined with the systemic approach in the management of Shwetapradara. The Kaphahara and Yonivishodhana action of Pippalyadi Varti was supported by the systemic effect of Kukkutanda Twak Bhasma leading to appreciable results.
