Abstract: The pandemic, followed by geopolitical conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza, has made us realise the next significant threat to humanity: climate change, but this has also resulted in widening the gap in government policies as they shift to giving prominence to security and economic problems. Talks on climate change are not a new norm; they have been there since the 1820s. The new standard now is the invention of Youth Activists and the increasing protests for climate action across the globe. To analyse the movement of these protests and the protestors (youth activists), the driving factors for these protests, demands, and the nature of these protests are to be considered. Lastly, the responses and outcomes of these protests will be analysed to determine whether these movements are making a difference. The paper will address whether these young leaders are provoking, actualising, or making an impact.
