Abstract: This paper presents DepthGAN-Enhanced Diffusion, an innovative and sophisticated framework for 2D-to-3D image reconstruction, leveraging state-of-the-art artificial intelligence techniques. By combining Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), diffusion models, and monocular depth map estimation, the proposed method addresses key challenges in 3D reconstruction, including precise depth estimation, effective handling of occluded regions, and maintaining geometric consistency across complex structures, while ensuring computational efficiency. Comprehensive experiments conducted on prominent datasets, such as ShapeNet and KITTI, highlight the superiority of our approach over existing state-of-the-art methods. DepthGAN-Enhanced Diffusion achieves exceptional performance across commonly used metrics, including Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR), Structural Similarity Index (SSIM), and Chamfer Distance (CD), alongside notable reductions in computational time. These findings emphasize the effectiveness of our framework in balancing both quality and efficiency. Moreover, the versatility of the proposed method makes it well-suited for a broad spectrum of real-world applications, such as autonomous driving, augmented reality (AR), and medical imaging. By enhancing accuracy and computational feasibility, DepthGAN-Enhanced Diffusion offers a transformative solution to 2D-to-3D reconstruction challenges, setting new benchmarks in artificial intelligence-driven image processing across diverse industries.
