Abstract: Finally, Xue and colleagues provide compelling evidence of GSDME-induced pyroptosis in chemotherapy-induced platelet dysfunction.The challenge now is to translate these findings and develop gasdermin E as a potential target to reduce thrombotic events in patients on chemotherapy.
