Associative brain-computer interface training increases wrist extensor corticospinal excitability in patients with subacute stroke
Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: We have demonstrated that a single training session with an associative brain-computer interface increased corticospinal excitability in patients suffering from upper limb weakness following stroke. This is the first time such an effect is described in the upper limb, which paves the way for effect augmentation of existing upper limb rehabilitation protocols.
