Abstract: This review explores the complex relationship between epilepsy and pregnancy, focusing on the effects of epilepsy on pregnancy outcomes, the influence of pregnancy on epilepsy, the teratogenic effects of anti-seizure medications, the role of vitamin K supplementation, and the management of epilepsy during pregnancy. By synthesizing recent research and clinical guidelines, the review provides a comprehensive overview of the challenges faced by women with epilepsy during pregnancy and the strategies employed to manage these challenges effectively.
