Polygraph examination in the work of the special services. Differences between examinations performed for procedural and operational purposes

Abstract: The article deals with carrying out polygraph tests in Poland for the use of special services within the framework of their operational and reconnaissance activities and for investigative purposes. The authors point out the differences between tests carried out for operational purposes and tests carried out for the purposes of a criminal trial. They answer the question about the legalisation of polygraph tests within operational and reconnaissance activities.
