Abstract: Street choreography is considered in the article as a special phenomenon of modern Kazakh culture. The author explores street dance through the key works of foreign researchers, which study the methods of teaching street dancing, their impact on the younger generation. The paper presents the idea that the purpose of the professional school of street choreography is to develop and demonstrate dance skills, the ability to create a unique dance style through self–expression, to strengthen the community and promote street dance culture. The author of the article shows the importance of street dance in the formation of physical data of dancers, the positive impact on the culture of formation and expression of emotions, the social and cultural development of children.
