Abstract: The article is devoted to the study of the procedural activity of the parties as a guarantee of timely judicial protection. It is determined that the timely provision of judicial protection is one of the significant indicators of effective civil proceedings. It is noted that all the activities of the persons involved in the case are carried out within the framework of the civil procedural form and depend on their expression of will. It is concluded that the procedural activity of the parties may have a positive and negative orientation, which directly affects the achievement of the goal of civil proceedings.
