Abstract: This article presents the main development stages of physiological research at the Komi Science Centre. It outlines the evolution of the Institute of Physiology from its establishment date to the present day, enumerates the most significant achievements in physiology and fundamental medicine, and analyses the publication activity and other aspects of scientific and organisational activity. Additionally, it provides a list of literature, including publications on the history and activities of the Institute of Physiology, as well as the main monographic publications of its staff.
