Research on effect of the water-based permeable crystalline material on concrete durability
Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: This study investigates the effect of the water-based permeable crystalline material on the compressive strength, permeability resistance, freeze-thaw resistance, abrasion resistance, and chloride ion permeability resistance of concrete through multiple sets of experiments. The results illustrate that the water-based permeable crystalline material enhances the compressive strength of concrete by approximately 9% and enhances the permeability resistance by 42.9%. Due to the notably higher permeability resistance, the chloride ion permeability resistance of concrete correspondingly increases by 17.2%. Moreover, this material significantly mitigates the damage caused by the freeze-thaw cycles and abrasion, making concrete more suitable for various working environments.
