Abstract: Long‐acting injectable (LAI) formulations of paliperidone and aripiprazole were among the most effective antipsychotics for limiting patient relapse in a comparative effectiveness study using health care register data for patients with schizophrenia. The 3‐month formulation of LAI paliperidone was associated with the lowest risk of the adverse outcomes.
