Abstract: The Middle Jurassic (Aalenian-Bajocian) terrigenous deposits in the southeastern part of the Inyali-Debin synclinorium, in which glendonites were found, were studied. Glendonites are most characteristic of the Bajocian; they are often found in the Upper Morzhovka subformation and are rarer in the Lower Debin subformation. These pseudomorphs are small in size and are represented by a single rosette-shaped morphotype. The presence of glendonites in these sedimentary rocks is an indicator of low bottom water temperature, which could be partly related to the great depth of the basin.
