Abstract: The article reviews the importance of a new branch of science - nanotechnologies for the economic growth of the country and the well-being of the population. Relevant recommendations are given, the consideration of which will accelerate the further development of the country. The discussed issues will play an even more important role in the economic progress of developing countries. The sooner one of the leading industries of our century can be developed in Georgia, the sooner we will be able to gain economic independence. This will speed up the development of the country and increase the standard of living of the population.
