Abstract: The article analyzes how the population of the USSR participated in the financial support of the state by subscribing to bonds of the State military loan.The purpose of the article is to study the participation of the Soviet people in the State military loans of the USSR during the Great Patriotic War based on newspaper materials, as well as to assess the significance of financial assistance from the population to the state.The article examines the influence of the Soviet state on the public consciousness of the population in the printed media, and determines the methods of agitation for the State military loan in newspapers.The source of the study is the issue of the Soviet newspaper "Boevoy Listok".The results of the study help to better understand the mechanisms of mobilization of the people during military conflict and its psychological characteristics under the influence of state propaganda.
