Abstract: This study provides an overview of the applications of regenerative medicine in the treatment of various dermatological conditions, with a particular focus on recent advancements in gene editing, bioengineered skin grafts, and cellular therapies. Regenerative techniques could address the underlying causes of disease and show promise in curing disorders such as radiodermatitis, dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa (DEB), vitiligo, and chronic wounds, whereas standard therapy typically merely relieves symptoms. Furthermore, the article examines the challenges that regenerative medicine currently faces, including high costs, immunological rejection, and moral dilemmas, as well as how cutting-edge tissue engineering and intelligent biomaterials may transform skin regeneration.
