Increasing the productivity of oil flax by pre-sowing seed treatment along with the addition of mineral nutrition
Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: It is noted that one of the targeted and economical ways to protect oil flax from pests and diseases that affect the processes of growth and development of plants in the initial period is to treat the seeds before sowing with insecto-fungicidal mixtures with the addition of chemicals. This technological method is a rational and effective type of seedling protection when cultivating oil flax along with foliar feeding. The method of encrusting oil flax seeds meets the principle of integrated field farming, which helps to increase the germination of seed, inhibits seed infection, protects seedlings from pathogenic microorganisms and allows for the maximum effect in increasing yield. As a result of the experiment, it was established that the combination of technology methods - seed inlay, the use of mineral nutrition in a dosage of N60P30K30, sowing with a row spacing of 0.15 m, a sowing rate of 5 million pcs./ha - contributed not only to the protection of seedlings from pests and diseases, but also to obtain maximum yield.
