Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: The aim of this research is to attempt to invoke critical practice to control the terminology and the act of reading, understanding and interpretation, because the student of literary theory and literary and philosophical history will inevitably come across critical approaches that approximate the literary achievement and work on it to clarify its purposes. The sciences of criticism require a procedural practice that combines a clear critical approach with a precise terminological network to achieve interpretation. The study concluded that it is useful to look at critical practice as an interpretive process that has great importance and importance in that it is a practiced act of reading through which we uncover the history of the discourse and the ideology of its product. In order to understand the contents and purposes of the discourse, a sound understanding and logical analysis is necessary, taking into account the research premises and its results. That is, the literary critic uses procedural tools and uses historical and cultural circumstances to understand, explain and interpret the literary phenomenon. Therefore, the accumulation of literary discourse requires knowledge and critical practice that would achieve dual readings and multiple interpretations. This scientific ambivalence and parallelism between the processes of writing and reading obliges us as readers to achieve cognitive competence and master the tools of critical work to overcome the terminology crisis and the difficulty of applying the method.
