Abstract: Vertigo develops as a result of incompatibility between the vestibular system, visual system and somatosensory system. Its prevalence is gradually increasing and it is more common in women than in men. There are different types of vertigo, and their symptoms vary depending on these types. In this case, the patient who first applied to the emergency room and then to the neurology outpatient clinic with complaints of dizziness, nausea, headache and fainting is discussed. Using Gordon's functional health patterns model, the patient was diagnosed with "risk for fall, risk for injury, ineffective coping, anxiety, deficient knowledge", nursing care was given and the results were evaluated.
