Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: This article examines the dynamics of the issuance of digital financial assets (DFA) in Russia from 2022 to 2024 and the factors influencing interest in these instruments. The volume of DFA placement has significantly increased, reaching 58.3 billion rubles in 2023 and a projected 314.8 billion rubles in 2024, indicating a growing interest in DFAs. The analysis shows that the level of trust in financial institutions, customer loyalty, and basic financial literacy are key factors contributing to this interest. At the same time, more conservative investors exhibit caution regarding DFAs, highlighting the need to enhance financial literacy and trust in new financial instruments. The article emphasizes the importance of educational programs and awareness campaigns to improve understanding of DFAs and their potential, as well as the necessity of creating transparent regulatory frameworks to reduce distrust and attract new participants to the market.
