Abstract: The article examines the transformation of the aesthetic and ethical worldview and thinking of the creative youth of Ukraine in the conditions of sociopolitical upheavals (the beginning of the 1990s and the war of 2022–2023). In the 1990s, the youth movement defined itself as an opposition to the “single method” of socialist realism. The author explores the reasons for artists’ fascination with the ideas of the “philosophy of mistrust.” The article also discusses the next wave of the bifurcation explosion during the 2014 war, and especially in 2022–2023, in the conditions of a total breakdown in the system of political and cultural demand of society and the aesthetic response of artists to social disturbances during the military situation in Ukraine. The author compares new thematic, substantive, and stylistic innovations in the art of Ukraine, especially in the work of the young generation of artists, to the previous period of art development. The article demonstrates the constant strengthening in creative explorations and highlights the results of journalistic and moral emphasis in works and new humanism in the modern art. The author outlines the reasons for the emergence of the national Cultural Front, with its ethical program and socio-cultural results.
