Abstract: The author discusses contemporary conditions of the subject actions of Polish teachers in educational institutions. He analyses areas of pedagogical freedom that can be exploited and the forms of its limitation in the context of universal access to GPT Chats. The author emphasises that exams which are transformed into multi‑level control systems and specifically constructed teacher evaluation surveys become tools that narrow the areas of pedagogical freedom. As a result, systemic solutions reduce most of the actions of Polish teachers to depersonalised functions that can be performed by artificial intelligence Chatbots.
