Abstract: The World Health Organization (WHO, 2021) estimates that climate change already results in more than 150,000 annual deaths, with projections expected to increase in the coming decades. This is a multidimensional risk that requires strategic interventions. Therefore, this article, based on disasters that occurred in Rio Grande do Sul in 2024, aims to contribute to the understanding of the impacts of climate change on health.
