Abstract: This study examined the mediating effects of evaluative concerns of perfectionism and selfcompassion on the relationship between intolerance of uncertainty and life satisfaction among workers. To this end, 422 people's data were used through an online survey targeting workers nationwide (excluding freelancers, part-time, and office workers).Frequency analysis, descriptive statistics analysis, and Pearson correlation analysis were performed using SPSS/WIN 27.0.As a result of the study, the dual mediating effect of evaluative concerns perfectionism and self-compassion in the relationship between intolerance of uncertainty and life satisfaction was statistically significant (B=-.691,ρ=.001) and the dual mediating effect (B=-.155, ρ=.0075) was statistically significant when evaluative concerns perfectionism and self-compassion were added. In addition, as a result of verifying the significance of the indirect effect through bootstrapping, the mediation effect was significant in the case of intolerance for uncertainty → self-compassion → life satisfaction, B=-.149 (-.2571~-.0545),but the mediation effect in the case of intolerance for uncertainty → evaluative concerns perfectionism → life satisfaction, B=-.033 (-.1975~.1342),was not significant. This study confirmed the mediating effects of evaluative concerns, perfectionism, and self-compassion on the effect of intolerance for uncertainty on life satisfaction. It then discussed the limitations of this study and suggested follow-up research.
