Abstract: Ney player Ömer Erdoğdular is one of our important ney players, who lived in a period very close to the present day and was among the students of Kutbü'n-nâyî Niyazi Sayın. In this study, ney player Ömer Erdoğdular's ney performance was examined in terms of his use of ornamentation techniques. In this regard, within the sample created by taking expert opinion, three taksim performances of Neyzen Ömer Erdoğdular were analyzed. In order to determine the divisions that will be included in the sample, academician and ney player opinions were received from Assoc. Dr. Selman Benlioğlu, Lecturer Onur Üstünkaya and Lecturer Ömer Bildik. The data obtained in the research were examined through content analysis. As a result of the study, it was determined that the four most frequently used elements in Neyzen Ömer Erdoğdular's performance, in terms of the use of ornamentation techniques, are percussion, waving / vibrato, percussion, gliding / glissando, which derive their value from the previous note. It has been determined that Ömer Erdoğdular aims to create a performance structure with lots of percussion and portico with the use of percussion, which derives its value from the note before it, and to make his performance a timbrally rich structure with the use of waving/glissando ornament technique. It has been determined that the ascending and descending navigational structures are strengthened and enriched by the use of hit and run and sliding / glissando decoration techniques. The notes of the divisions that are the subject of the review are given in the appendices section of the study.
