Abstract: Business ethics emerges as a fundamental element that directs the actions of both individuals and businesses in the modern business world. In the business world, adherence to ethical principles and codes based on business ethics plays an important role in building sustainable success and social trust. However, the concept of business ethics should be examined not only as a practical necessity but also as a discipline with deep philosophical foundations. In this context, understanding the relationship between business ethics and ethics requires an understanding of the historical development of ethical thought systems and how they are reflected in the business world. Philosophically, the concept of business ethics has been largely shaped by ethical theories. Various philosophical approaches, from Aristotle's virtue ethics to Kant's deontological ethics to Bentham and Mill's utilitarianism, have tried to explain the obligation of individuals to take right action. These theories form the basis of values such as honesty, justice, responsibility and respect, which are the determinants of business ethics. In this regard, the study examined the connection between business ethics and ethical theories and tried to present a theoretical framework for the moral problems encountered in today's business world.
