Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: Since 12th June 2024, severe precipitation has struck Guilin due to the long-term intersection of cold and warm air streams. Cutting clean water supplies and sanitation services is detrimental and may threaten citizens’ health. Additionally, mercury ions and lead ions are abundant while hard to remove. In this review, different methods of water treatment process in removing heavy metal ions were discussed including chemical precipitation, photocatalysis, and biosorption. Eventually, these methods should be further improved.
