Abstract: Objective: The objective of this study is to analyze how artificial intelligence can promote educational inclusion and improve the quality of learning for students with special educational needs. Theoretical Framework: In this review article, the main concepts and theories that support the research are presented, such as personalized learning, the model of educational inclusion, and the theory of educational technology, providing solid foundations from an approach that fosters inclusion in higher education. Method: Based on a qualitative approach, 18 scientific articles and 2 books were analyzed regarding the role of AI in inclusive education. The selected participants are researchers who have published in indexed journals with regional and global impact. Data collection was conducted through an exhaustive documentary analysis, focusing on recent studies about educational technologies and their application in inclusive contexts. Results and Discussion: Within the results obtained, it was determined that artificial intelligence has significant potential to personalize learning and facilitate access to education for students with special educational needs. However, limitations were also identified, such as the inequality related to access to technology that affects various socioeconomic contexts. Research Implications: The implications, both practical and theoretical, are analyzed to provide information on how the results can be applied or influence practices in the field of education regarding the development of inclusive educational policies, teacher training, and improvements in access to digital teaching resources. Originality/Value: The relevance and value of this research are evident in its ability to inform about new pedagogical strategies that integrate emerging technologies in the classroom.
