Abstract: Objective: The aim of the article is to analyze the role of public-private partnerships (PPPs) in the context of promoting sustainable development, social inclusion, economic growth, and environmental protection. Theoretical Framework: The relevance of the synergy between public and private resources is intensified by the potential of public-private partnerships to promote sustainable development. By combining the functional advantages of public authorities with the capabilities of private business structures, PPPs allow for the most efficient allocation of resource potential. They help solve a range of problems through the integration of innovative approaches, leading to the successful implementation of strategic, socially significant projects. Methods: The study analyses the existing model of public-private partnerships in the European environment, with a focus on the main problems and bottlenecks in the traditional system of partnership between the business sector and government. A comparative analysis is carried out between the priority trends in PPP development in Europe and the national realities in Ukraine. Results: The study confirms that involving the private business sector provides projects with necessary resource support, innovative efficiency, and technical expertise, which accelerates the implementation of key public initiatives. PPPs contribute to the sustainable development of critical infrastructure, facilitating economic diversification and sustainable human development. Contribution: The research demonstrates that public-private partnerships create a favourable environment for investment and entrepreneurship, offering a stable management framework for successful projects.
