PENGARUH KONSENTRASI AIR KELAPA DAN LAMA PERENDAMAN BENIH TERHADAP PENINGKATAN PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI TANAMAN BAWANG MERAH (Allium ascalonicum L.)

Abstract: Research was conducted from July to September 2022 in Biak Hamlet, Tallung Tondok Village, Malua District, Enrekang Regency using a Randomized Block Design with 2 treatment factors. The first factor is the concentration of coconut water (25%, 50%, 75% and 100%) and the second factor is the length of soaking the seeds (2, 4 and 6 hours). The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, number of tubers per hill, wet weight of tubers per plot, dry weight of tubers per plot and production per hectare. The research results showed that a coconut water concentration of 50% had an influence on the parameters of the number of tubers, namely 10.52 tubers, the dry weight of tubers per plot, namely 2400 grams and production per hectare, namely 18 tons. The soaking time of 4 hours had an influence on the parameters of plant height, namely 32.11 cm, dry weight of tubers per plot, namely 2400 grams and production per hectare, namely 18 tons. The interaction between 50% coconut water concentration and 4 hours of seed soaking had the best effect on the parameters of number of tubers, dry weight of tubers per plot and production per hectare.
