Abstract: A thermoeconomic optimization method of ventilation units with recuperative heat exchangers is proposed, which allows comparing the efficiency indicators of recuperative heat exchangers with different designs of the heat exchange surface. It is noted that it is inexpedient to select a single generalized optimality criterion and derive an analytical expression for it due to the need to take into account a large amount of discretely changing factors and introduce restrictions to them.
