Abstract: The activity of dressing is a fundamental element of our daily lives and has a major impact on an individual's independence, self-confidence and overall quality of life. This effect becomes even more pronounced for individuals with disabilities, because the activity of dressing affects not only appearance, but also psychological and physical health. Evaluation is as important as intervention in activities of daily living (ADL). Dressing headings vary across different ADL scales. Adaptive products are products specially designed to help disabled individuals perform daily living activities more independently. Clothing products with specially designed opening and closing mechanisms facilitate the dressing activity, while interventions generally include therapeutic methods applied by expert healthcare professionals. The purpose of this review is to provide information about evaluation, one-handed dressing intervention and adaptive products in the field of dressing, which is one of the basic daily life activities.
