Abstract: This study explores the role of Integrated Farming Systems (IFS) in enhancing agricultural productivity, food security, and household income for small-scale farmers. IFS, which integrates various agricultural enterprises such as livestock, poultry, horticulture, fisheries, and agroforestry, provides a sustainable solution to the challenges faced by farmers, including environmental changes, market fluctuations, and resource limitations. The study highlights the effectiveness of IFS in recycling farm byproducts, improving soil health, and reducing production costs. It further emphasizes the importance of farmer training and subsidies for adopting IFS and agroforestry-based systems to increase farm productivity. The findings support the potential of IFS in ensuring long-term sustainability, enhancing nutrition, and contributing to rural economic development.
