Abstract: Nanogels, often referred to as nanosized hydrogels, are tiny, swellable particles composed of amphiphilic or bendable hydrophilic polymers that are joined chemically or mechanically. The aim of study was the formulation and characterization of celecoxib nanogel for anti-inflammatory potential.Celecoxib's nanogel was prepared using a modified emulsification-diffusion technique and evaluated by following parameters: physical appearance, droplet size & polydispersity index, in-vitro drug release, % drug content, viscosity, pH, spreadability and stability.Celecoxib was found soluble in ethanol, methanol and insoluble in distilled water. The sample of celecoxib was found like the reference celecoxib in terms of physical appearance, color and odor.It was observed as crystalline powder, yellow in color and odorless. The formulated nanogels were found as slightly alkaline. The pH was estimated ranging from 6.2±0.3 to 6.5±0.3.In conclusion, among all NG 6 demonstrated the highest in-vitro drug release 85.79±0.22%.The formulated nanogels were found as slightly alkaline. The pH was estimated ranging from 6.2±0.3 to 6.5±0.3.Therefore, the prepared nanogels were found optimized in terms of slightly alkaline pH.
