Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: The article examines in detail the main characteristics of network media structures in the modern world and Kazakh society, as well as the fact that the intensive development and convergence of communication and information technologies have brought a new transformation and new forms of spoken and written language. New opportunities have appeared in the Internet space to unite people according to different interests and preferences, in connection with which researchers have taken Kazakh-language comments on social networks and media products as the subject of their study. It is currently claimed that cyberspace provides freedom of opinion and freedom of speech, but the fact that social media is a platform for publishing and promoting messages filled with violence and hatred is also differentiated based on the evidence in the study. The mistakes made in the hate speech of journalists are also theoretically formulated. Researchers have demonstrated experimentally that the basic concept explaining hate in online media is not to obey social principles. The authors emphasized that, since incitement to hatred in society remains a social problem, there is a need for automatic detection systems for hate speech and put forward a theory about the need to comply with speech ethics.
